Welcome to Vaultrice! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services, websites, and applications offered by inweso Ltd liab. Co. Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Data Processing Addendum. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and promising that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

1. Service Description

Vaultrice ("the Service") is a global, secure key-value storage service with built-in real-time features, designed for developers and businesses to manage and synchronize application state across clients, devices, and domains.

2. Account Registration and Security

  • Registration: You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when you register for an account.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any other credentials used to access your account, including API keys and secrets. You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them.

3. Use of the Service

  • Permitted Use: You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
  • Acceptable Use: You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you must not:
    • Use the Service to store or transmit any content that is infringing, libelous, or otherwise unlawful or tortious.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or third-party data contained therein.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks.
    • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, promotions, or spam.

4. Fees, Payments, and Subscriptions

  • Subscription Plans: The Service is offered under various subscription plans, as detailed on our Pricing page. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly).
  • Payment: We use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to handle all payments. By providing your payment information, you agree that we may charge you for all fees due through your account.
  • Upgrades and Downgrades: You may change your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades and downgrades will be billed for the prorated difference for the current billing cycle.
  • Taxes: All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties. Stripe will automatically try to collect taxes based on your billing information.

5. Term and Termination

  • Term: These Terms will remain in effect until your subscription to the Service terminates.
  • Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
  • Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Data and Privacy

  • Your Data: You retain all rights and ownership of your content and data that you store in the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your data.
  • Privacy: Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information. Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) forms part of these Terms and governs the processing of personal data on your behalf.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its features, and all related intellectual property rights are the exclusive property of inweso Ltd liab. Co and its licensors. You may not use the Vaultrice or inweso Ltd liab. Co name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written consent.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. inweso Ltd liab. Co does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or omissions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, inweso Ltd liab. Co shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be the courts of the canton of Thurgau.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
